La véritable nature d'Horus leur est révélée : le dieu est une femme, née de la fusion d'Isis et d'Osiris. Maât, déesse de l'harmonie cosmique, impose la pesée finale : les ailes d'Isis, les ailes d'Osiris et les orbes d'Horus accumulés sur les scarabées Khépri, ainsi que les trois reliques (les Roseaux d'or — souvenirs d'Isis, l'Œil d'Âmmout — sapience d'Osiris, le Sang d'Horus — Ka-Feu du dieu), déterminent l'issue. Hélène Théas et Alkeringa tentent de faire pencher la balance vers Isis. Douze fins sont possibles réparties en trois voies : la voie d'Isis (voie des humains — d'un Titan amnésique errant jusqu'à la fondation du Culte du Trône solaire), la voie d'Osiris (voie des Nephilim — d'un Osiris errant jusqu'au retour du souverain de l'au-delà et un Compact en Égypte), et la voie d'Horus (voie de l'Équilibre — de la simple souveraine des Champs d'Ialou jusqu'à Horus l'agarthienne incarnant le véritable Sentier d'or prométhéen).
